The Philosophy Department was founded in September 1969 for providing of world-view, social and political, humanitarian and methodological training of students and post-graduate students.
The main goal of educational activity of department is formation of system of value orientations and social norms what define development of human civilization. Huge attention is paid to the formation of culture of thinking at students and post-graduate students, which includes scientific, technical and humanitarian knowledge and it is based on personal responsibility for the results of intellectual activity.
